A Grangemouth-based business has scored a major signing with Falkirk FC and is set to launch an exclusive line of club Champagne in time for the new football season.

Boutiquebubbly.com, a provider of quality personalised champagne hand selected from vineyards in the historic province of Champagne, has produced two special labels especially for Bairns fans. The range comes complete with personalised Falkirk FC branding, ideal for fans to toast special occasions or team wins.

Announced as the official ‘Man of the Match’ sponsor for 2012/13 season, each man of the match will be presented with a bottle of Falkirk FC Champagne at each home game while fans can purchase the champagne from either boutiquebubbly.com or via the club website/shop.

Boutiquebubbly.com, who has received support from Business Gateway in Falkirk, was formed in 2011 by husband and wife team Jonathan and Stephanie, following inspiration from Stephanie’s grandfather who himself imported fine wine into the country in the 1970s and 80s.

A trip to France to source the perfect champagne for their wedding brought about a chance encounter with a handful of small grower producers who use age-old traditional methods not currently available in the UK. Both Jonathan and Stephanie instantly fell in love with what they tasted - the quality and luxury surpassing any named brand they had tried. Boutiquebubbly.com was launched shortly after, allowing customers to personalise bottles of the Champagne either individually for personal gifts or in bulk for corporate occasions.

Britain is still the biggest importer of champagne, with 35 million bottles landing on UK shores every year. The personalised gift industry is also growing all the time, and it is hoped that the move into branded football champagne will prove popular for boutiquebubbly.com.
