Tickets for Schools in partnership with Grangemouth Wood Centre has returned for a fifth season.
This year’s scheme was launched at Bainsford Primary School with sponsor Bruce Muirhead of Grangemouth Wood Centre. Joe McKee and Marcus Haber were also in attendance to meet some of the children who will attend Saturday’s match against Dundee United.
For each home league match held at The Falkirk Stadium one local school will receive 50 free tickets, free bus travel to and from the match, a free matchday programme for each child and a free Falkirk FC t-shirt.
Kieran Koszary, Falkirk FC Commercial Director, said: “Our Tickets for School initiative is a project we are all extremely proud of at Falkirk FC and I would like to thank Bruce for his continued support which allows us to bring over 900 kids per season to watch a match at the Falkirk Stadium.
“Since its inception we have had over 3’500 kids attending The Falkirk Stadium, in the future we hope that these kids become regular and active members of The Falkirk Family.”
Bruce Muirhead, Grangemouth Wood Centre, said: “It was fantastic to visit Bainsford Primary School, the school where my father Gilchrist attended, and meet the kids who will be attending the match on Saturday.
“It was my father who first took me to Brockville to watch Falkirk for the first time and as a lifelong fan I hope that these kids can get to enjoy the fantastic experiences I had had over the years.”
