Get behind the Bairns on Saturday as we travel to Cappielow to take on Greenock Morton in the Ladbrokes Championship.
RAY McKINNON’S PRE-MATCH THOUGHTS
On the international break…
It’s been a good couple of weeks, we have worked on a lot of things with fitness being a key part of it. We wanted to top it up and make sure everyone was fully up to speed. Prince Buaben has worked extremely hard as has Jordan McGhee, but in general we’ve had a positive couple of weeks so hopefully the squad are in tip top condition.
On the squad…
“Since I came in we have had three really good performances, but the Dunfermline match was a disappointment. The mood around the camp isn’t too bad, but we know we need to keep working away to make improvements where we can. We have got to stick together and work as hard as we can until January. It is going to be a grind because of where we are, but the players have enough in the tank to get themselves out of this.
On Greenock Morton…
“Jonatan Johansson is a good young manager who has taken on a decent team, but all my focus has been on Falkirk. My focus will be fully on getting three points on Saturday. There isn’t a lot between the teams in this league, Morton have got their match winners, but we hope that we will have match winners too. It comes down to who performs the best on the day. We are going to go down there to try and win the game.
On team news…
“Prince Buaben is getting fitter and Jordan McGhee is getting fitter too which is good. I know he played in the last game, but he has missed a good chunk of the season. I think everyone is fit at the moment and I have a full squad to choose from.
On the fans…
“I think the fans understand where we are as a club at the moment and are on side if you ask me. They obviously want to see winning performances and we will be striving to do that between now and the end of the season.”
