FALKIRK FC SPORTSMAN’S DINNER - Falkirk Football Club

We are pleased to announce we are now taking bookings for our annual Falkirk FC Sportsman’s Dinner.

Anyone who has attended previously, will know this is a well sought after event on the FFC calendar and has grown in success each year. We have lined up a night of fantastic entertainment for this fundraising dinner and we hope to see you all there!

We appreciate your ongoing support to the club and your commitment and loyalty is highly commended from Ray and all his management staff. We would like to invite you to our sportsman’s dinner event and we promise you an evening of fantastic entertainment, great food and excellent service.

This season we will be holding our dinner at the Inchyra Grange Hotel, Grangemouth on Friday 1^st March 2019, 7.00pm for 7.30pm. The format of the evening will be similar to other years, with the meal being followed by three popular after-dinner speakers and will include an auction with numerous unique items and a raffle.

We are pleased to announce a great line-up of speakers for this evening:-

Ewen Cameron

First up is award winning TV & Radio Presenter Ewen Cameron. Ewen is a Scottish comedian and radio presenter for Clyde 2 as well as many other radio stations. Ewen has also hosted a number of TV programmes such as ‘The Late Show with Ewen Cameron’ ‘Live at Five’ and STV specials like ‘The Festival Show’ and ‘Scotland’s Big Sleep Out’.

Paul Reid

Also joining us for the evening is Paul Reid. Having started speaking at events back in 1998 at only 16 years of age, he has appeared at benefit dinners for many famous names including, Sir Alex Ferguson, Mark Hateley, Neil Lennon and Gordon Strachan. He has also been the official guest speaker for the Clydesdale Bank SPL Awards Evening and The Scottish Sports Writers Dinner.

Willie Allan

Finally we have Willie Allan. Born in Edinburgh and brought up in Dunfermline, Willie had been a Physical education teacher since 1984, eventually becoming principal Teacher of Physical Education at Buckhaven High School in Fife in 1994. Willie has been on the after dinner speaker circuit since 1992. He has performed at a variety of venues and top hotels throughout the UK however, the vast majority of his work is in the corporate market where ‘The Herald’ described him as “probably the best after dinner speaker in Scotland”. In 2017 Willie was appointed MBE for services to youth rugby and charity.
