The Bairns travel to the Highlands on Saturday afternoon to take on Inverness CT.
RAY McKINNON’S PRE MATCH THOUGHTS
On last weekend…
“There’s nothing we can do about last week now other than to learn from it. It’s all about Inverness from as soon as last Saturday’s match was finished and ensuring we prepare properly for the match.
“We know where we are, I know where we are. We are going to get inconsistencies, every team has them, we just had a really poor day on Saturday and got punished for it.
“I would rather that it didn’t happen, but we now have an opportunity to get back to the form we have shown in the last four games in the league. It’s our bread and butter this season.”
On Inverness CT…
“Inverness have done really well this year, I think they are still undefeated this season. They’ve got a really settled, strong squad and good players. It’ll be a tough, tough game, they’ve shown good form, but like every match it’s a chance to pick up points.
“We need to be compact and hard to beat this weekend, we certainly weren’t last Saturday. We know that, we know our strengths and our weaknesses and we need to make sure to get back to our best.”
On injuries and Zak Rudden’s return…
“Scott Harrison is still carrying a bit of a hip problem so we will see how he is ahead of the match and the same goes for Prince Buaben as to whether he’ll be fit or not. We welcome back Zak Rudden though, he’s raring to go having missed our last couple of games.
“It’s maybe not a bad thing as he is only 18 and has knocked his pan in every game for us so maybe the break has done him good. Both he and Demi have done really well, they work really well together and Zak has scored four goals for us. We’re delighted to have him back.”
