The Bairns travel to Tannadice tomorrow afternoon to take on Dundee United in the Ladbrokes Championship.

Ray McKinnon’s side are now unbeaten in five league matches and will be looking to continue that trend in Tayside.

RAY McKINNON’S PRE-MATCH THOUGHTS

On last weekend’s draw with Greenock Morton…

“There were positives to take last weekend. We were disciplined and had good work rate, everything we’ve been asking for. We were unlucky not to win the game with some of our chances, but overall it was an even contest and as I said after the game there’s absolutely nothing between a lot of the teams in this league. It’s just about having the right quality at both ends of the park. The boys are on a great run, they’re working hard and we just need to keep that going.

On recent form and performances…

“A lot of people get carried away because they maybe come to The Falkirk Stadium and have a lot of the play. We let teams play like that though as part of our game plan and it is working for us. We play counter attacking football and it suits us. We had to take into consideration that we didn’t have any points, we have found a plan that suits us and now we are averaging around two points a game which is great. We’d love to win matches, but at least we are still picking up points and staying amongst the pack.

On Saturday’s trip to Dundee United…

“It’s a difficult game, I watched back their draw with Inverness and both teams had chances. It’s one of those leagues that everyone can beat everyone. It’s unpredictable, but excitable. Robbie Neilson had a good bounce when he came in, he has a big and impressive squad so he has plenty of options. We are looking forward to going there up there. I’ve got good memories up there as a player and manager, but I have the sole intention of trying to get three points on Saturday.”
