Falkirk FC can confirm that Aaron Muirhead has left the club having mutually agreed the termination of his contract.
Aaron joined the club on 2nd January 2015 having left Partick Thistle and went on to make a total of 143 appearances during his time with us, scoring 13 goals.
The 28-year old has been involved in a number of memorable matches over the last four years including our run to the 2015 Scottish Cup Final, two consecutive second place finishes in the Ladbrokes Championship and our Play Off Semi Final and Final in 2016.
Aaron was named Club Captain following the departure of Mark Kerr last summer and has continued to lead the team both on and off the pitch right through until his final training session yesterday.
