Bairn for Life met with manager, Ray McKinnon to present him with their first donation to our January Transfer Window fund.

The monthly contribution scheme, which is run by four Falkirk fans, has so far raised £16,000.

Falkirk manager, Ray McKinnon, commented: “I would like to thank everyone involved in Bairn for Life for their continued support. It is great to see the real benefit of supporters working together to assist me as I look to continue to make signings to improve the group.

“I know that there is a lot of discussion around the club regarding fan ownership at the moment and to see supporters continuing to come together and backing the team in the numbers they have has been terrific.”

David Lapsley, Chairman of Bairn for Life, said: “Today BAIRNforLIFE has importantly reached its first successful milestone in its initiative to help Ray McKinnon sign a player in the January Transfer window.

“We are delighted to be able to hand over this cheque for £16,000 to help boost the club’s ability to sign new players. I warmly wish to thank all those fans who have supported this project to date.”
