Falkirk FC are pleased to announce our Official Samaritans Awareness Day on Saturday for our high-profile fixture against Dundee United.
This is year four of our partnership, and the club are delighted to be associated with Samaritans and the vital work that they do throughout the UK and Ireland.
As part of the day the team will wear Samaritans branded t-shirts during the warm-up. This will be accompanied by a charity collection, exposure through social media and on the PA, free branding in the programme and free tickets for staff.
The Awareness Day comes as part of the club’s ongoing strategy to work with our community, and to use the power of Falkirk FC to work with those who need our support.
Vikki Louise Wilson, Director of Samaritans of Falkirk & Central Scotland said of the Awareness Day: “We are delighted to be welcomed back to Falkirk Stadium for our annual awareness day as part of our partnership with the club.
“We would like to wish the team the best of luck for Saturdays game against Dundee united. Thank you to the club and to all the fans for the continued support for the charity”
Kieran Koszary, Commercial Director at Falkirk FC, added: “We are looking forward to welcoming our friends from Samaritans to the match on Saturday as a thank you for the fantastic work that they do in the area and beyond in their quest to reduce the number of people affected by suicide.
“As a club we are determined to play a part in preventing any more lives being lost.”
