Falkirk FC is pleased to announce the signing of right-back, Michael Doyle on a two-year contract.
The 27-year old spent last season at Queen of the South but has spent long spells at Alloa Athletic and Greenock Morton, as well as shorter stints at Stirling Albion and St Johnstone.
The Bairns have batted off stiff competition north and south of the border for the full-back’s signature who joined up with his new teammates for the first time this morning.
Speaking of his eighth summer signing, Ray McKinnon, said: “I’m very happy to be able to bring Michael into the club. It’s so important that we have someone in his position that is quick, athletic and who is able to get forward, but also offer protection at the back. Michael ticks all of those boxes.
“We have tracked Michael for some time and have been speaking to him in recent days, he is the exact type of character we want to recruit. He buys fully into our vision for the club, is at a good age and is extremely fit.
“Michael is versatile too and can offer us different options in different areas, but most importantly he is an extremely strong full back and someone who will be a great asset to us over the next two years.”
