Falkirk FC is delighted to announce the signing of Louis Longridge.

The 28-year-old returns to the club on an initial contract until January 2020.

Louis signed for the Bairns back in October 2017 on loan from Hamilton Accies before making the move permanent in January 2018. The attacker featured 29 times, scoring seven goals.

Louis went on to join Dunfermline Athletic and has worked previously with Ray McKinnon during a spell at Raith Rovers.

Speaking of his latest recruit, Ray McKinnon, said: “We are delighted to bring Louis back to the club. He’s a player we know well and one that we have been interested in signing for a number of weeks.

“Louis is the type of player that can give us a spark in attacking areas, he is quick, skillful and I know he was extremely popular during his previous spell at Falkirk. He scores goals too and will add a different dimension to our midfield and front line.

“He will slot into the dressing room really well and will add compliment the quality we already have in the squad well.”

Meanwhile, Denny Johnstone penned a one year deal to extend his stay at The Falkirk Stadium until June 2020.

Denny has been with the club since the start of pre-season training and has scored twice in matches against Brechin City and Berwick Rangers.

McKinnon, added: ““Denny is gradually getting better and better, he is looking really sharp. We will see the best of him in the coming months and he will be another excellent addition to the squad.”
