Falkirk FC Stadium Announcer, Dave Mac recently met up with his colleague at Middlesbrough FC,  Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Mark Page who has for many years had business interests in the Far East and combines his business trips with charity work on his travels.

Ahead of Mark’s return to the Philippines later this month, we are delighted to supply him, through Dave, a set of Falkirk FC strips to be used to try and engage local children and adults into playing football.

We wish Mark the very best for his trip and look forward to seeing pictures of the official handover in a few weeks time.

Dave Mac, said: “Mark and his daughter have raised money and helped many projects in the Philippines over the years.

“Mark is going back to the Philippines in late October and when I met up with him recently at the Riverside Stadium, he asked if Falkirk would be able to help with old worn football shirts which he is taking with him in a project to help the underprivileged in the Philippines get into football. I am very proud to be able to receive the strips for Mark and know how delighted he is with the donation.”
