BAIRNS PAY STRATHCARRON A FESTIVE VISIT

The Bairns made their second festive trip of the week this afternoon as Gregor Buchanan, Louis Longridge, Aidan Laverty and Robbie Mutch visited our friends at Strathcarron Hospice. 

The group were joined by Alex Totten as they handed out mince pies and Falkirk FC Calendars to patients. There was also a special festive gift for the nurses who received meal vouchers thanks to Elliot Jardine of our partners, McDonald’s.

There was plenty of chat, pictures taken and autographs signed as the players spent time in both the Ward and Day Care Unit.

Club Captain, Gregor Buchanan, commented: “It was a real pleasure to visit everyone at Strathcarron Hospice this afternoon. It was my first time at the Hospice and the welcome we all received was so warm, it’s a special place and I am proud of the small part we can play in raising funds and awareness for the fantastic work carried out by all the nurses and staff.

“On behalf of everyone at the club, I’d like to wish everyone at the Hospice a very Merry Christmas.”
