Falkirk FC is pleased to confirm that Aidan Laverty has penned contract extension until June 2021.
The midfielder will immediately join Brechin City on loan until the end of the season.
Aidan has been with the club since 2017, he suffered a major injury setback whilst on the cusp of our first team squad 14 months ago, but has now returned to full fitness after a long period of recovery.
He will join Mark Wilson’s side as they bid for League Two survival, before returning to The Falkirk Stadium for pre-season training in June.
Lee Miller, commented: “Aidan is a great player and character to have – he makes a huge impression on the place everyday. It was important to us that he had some security after a really tough year or so. He is back fit and looks really good in training, but we feel it is important now that he goes out to get regular game time in a first team so that he is prepared for his return to us next season.”
All at the club wish Aidan well for his loan spell at Glebe Park.
