We presented Alan Lochie, Legion Scotland Grangemouth Branch Chair, with the £4,000 raised from our various initiatives over the last few months. Alan collected the donation on behalf of Legion Scotland and Poppy Scotland.

In addition to the monetary donation we have also given all local Legion Scotland members free access to Falkirk TV across the last two months as well as delivered a pie and a Bovril so they can watch the game from home and fully recreate the match-day experience.

Thank all who have contributed across the Falkirk family to support our longstanding partners at Legion Scotland and Poppy Scotland, in spite of the current global pandemic.

Falkirk FC would also like to thank GCSA for once again supporting us in our partnership with Legion Scotland and Poppy Scotland.

Dr Claire Armstrong, Chief Executive for Legion Scotland said:

“Our relationship with Falkirk FC is extremely important and although this year due to COVID we have been unable to hold our normal face to face comradeship events and we are unable to join in person for the Remembrance match, we are still very grateful for the clubs ongoing support for both Legion Scotland and Poppy Scotland.

“Like all of us, the club has adapted this year and provided contact and support in different ways to our veterans and we cannot thank them enough, as it really does make a difference.”
