VERIFIER LOCAL HERO OF THE MONTH RETURNS

With the postponement of football, we are once again switching our focus to the people around us who are giving everything to look after their local community.

Each month with no football, instead of our Player of the Month, we will be awarding a Local Hero of the Month with our partners Verifier. This could be anyone going above and beyond in these tough times, in whatever way they can.

This initiative goes back to the first lockdown in March 2020, when the football club first awarded Local Hero of the Month to those doing everything for their community.

The winner will be presented with a special prize to thank them for their effort.

Kieran Koszary, Commercial Director, said:

“As a club we know there are members of the local community going over and beyond to help those in need during these difficult times. This initiative will allow the club to once again thank individuals for their fantastic efforts and, rest assured, we will give each winner the recognition they deserve.”

It’s is heartening to see our communities once again pulling together looking after each other.”

Nominations for January’s Local Hero of the Month can be submitted by email to media@falkirkfc.co.uk and should include the hero’s name, and a short description of how they have impacted their local community. Voting for this month’s award will close on Friday the 5th of February.
