Next up for The Bairns is a midweek contest against Dumbarton.

Kick-off is tomorrow at 7.45pm

HEAD-TO-HEAD

We have played Dumbarton twice this season, with both fixtures in November. The Betfred Cup fixture saw a comprehensive Falkirk win. A Callumn Morrison goal after 12 minutes saw The Bairns go in a goal up at the break. Morrison’s second, a Conor Sammon tap in and an Anton Dowds finish sealed Falkirk’s place in the next round of the competition.

The next meeting exactly two weeks later saw Callumn Morrison open the scoring before Blair Alston scored a goal of the season contender, with his free kick from miles out finding the top corner. Aidan Connolly made it three with a tidy finish late on and secured all three points for Falkirk.

FORM GUIDE

The Bairns remain top of the Scottish League One table after Saturday’s victory away to Forfar Athletic. Charlie Telfer continued his good form to score from range and Blair Alston sealed the win after taking advantage of a defensive mishap. The result saw The Bairns continue their 100% record since returning from the suspension of lower league football, with three wins from three.

Dumbarton sit eighth in the Scottish League One table, two points off bottom with a game in hand on bottom club Forfar Athletic. The two league results for tomorrow’s visitors since the restart have been poor, with a loss against fellow strugglers Forfar and an in-form Peterhead side.
