NEWS

The Club would like to update supporters on season ticket sales and the proposed access arrangements for our two home Premier Sports Cup fixtures against Albion Rovers (13 July) and Hamilton (17 July).

As of today, the club has sold close to 1,000 season tickets, a mixture of renewals and new season ticket holders.  We would like to thank everyone who has shown their support in this way including those who have chosen to donate extra funds to the Club when purchasing their season ticket. This is greatly appreciated.

The Club has been working hard behind the scenes in preparation for the return of fans and to ensure the Falkirk Stadium is as safe as it possibly can be.  We are therefore delighted to confirm that supporters will be able to return for our home cup fixtures against Albion Rovers and Hamilton and as previously indicated, we are offering these games free to season ticket holders.

Current guidelines from Scottish Government only permit 1,000 attendees at these games, although this may be subject to change.  Therefore our first 1,000 season ticket holders will be guaranteed entry to the Albion Rovers fixture.

For the Hamilton fixture we will offer priority access to any season ticket holder who was not able to attend the Albion Rovers fixture, before allocating (via a draw) the remainder of the 1,000 allocation to remaining season ticket holders.  Unfortunately, due to the restrictions on numbers and the need to trace the identity and location of everyone who attends these fixtures, we are not, at this stage, planning to offer Pay at the Gate.  However, any supporter not able to attend either or both of these fixtures will be able to watch the matches on Falkirk TV either as part of their season ticket package or as a Pay Per View option.

We recognise at this time that there is no perfect solution to allowing everyone one into the Falkirk Stadium that wants to watch the games but rest assured that we are working closely with Scottish Government and the local authority to accommodate as many fans as we can moving forwards.

These restrictions are new to us all and there will undoubtedly be some teething problems. We therefore ask for your understanding as we try to accommodate the return of as many supporters as possible.  We plan to issue in the coming days an instructional video which will walk supporters through the various steps involved in returning to the Stadium safely.
