SAMUEL OMPREON SIGNS

Falkirk Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Samuel Ompreon.

The 20-year-old striker, who came through the youth academies of Chelsea and Sheffield United, joins The Bairns on an initial one-year deal. Falkirk fought off approaches from various other Scottish clubs to secure the Englishman’s signature.

Samuel is able to go straight into contention for today’s matchday squad.

Head Coach Paul Sheerin said of his latest addition:

“Sammy is someone we have had in on trial for a few weeks now and I’ve been very impressed with his application and ability over that time. It’s great to be able to get the clearance in time for him to possibly play a part in today’s game.”
