The Development Squad Under-16’s got another win as they defeated Alloa Athletic Under-16’s at the Indodrill Stadium on Sunday.

The young Bairns performed below their usual standard and Alloa battled well, making it a tough day. Aaron Ramage’s two excellent finishes in the box secured a 1-2 win for Falkirk and capped a fine overall display from the young striker that saw another great goal disallowed.

The Under-18’s game against their Alloa Athletic counterparts was cancelled due to injuries for the hosts.

This coming Sunday was due to be a free weekend in the fixture list, but a friendly has been arranged between Falkirk Under-16’s and Aberdeen Under 16’s. The visitors are one of the top Under 16 sides in the country, so it promises to be a very challenging and testing day for The Falkirk youngsters. The game kicks off at 1pm on Sunday 10th October. Donations at the gate towards the youth development fund are welcomed.
