Falkirk Football Club has teamed up with Res(e)t Float Centre in an exciting new partnership. Falkirk players will benefit from unique therapy support from one of Falkirk’s newest businesses.

Float therapy consists of floating on a bed of body temperature water saturated with 500kg of pharmaceutical grade Epsom Salts in a light proof (optional – you can always leave the lights on!) and soundproof pod in which an individual floats. You just lie back, relax, and let yourself float effortlessly on the surface of the water and enjoy a feeling of complete weightlessness (zero gravity).

Float therapy has some impressive benefits leading with extreme relaxation for the body and mind. It can significantly assist with pain management, muscle recovery and help to alleviate insomnia. It is a tool you can use to relieve physical pain, help recovery from injuries as well as supporting a deep level of mental relaxation making it a number one tool for managing stress and anxiety. For those new mums to be float therapy has many antenatal benefits. Zero gravity means the extra baby weight pressure is taken off joints, muscles, water retention and swelling is reduced and blood pressure is lowered. Floating is a deeply serene, calming and extreme form of relaxation that doesn’t end when your float ends, that’s the most stunning part. Muscles feel heavy – but good – recharged and energised! You will be acutely aware of your senses and your skin will feel amazing.
