A squad of mixed Development players ran out three-one winners in a friendly match on Tuesday against East Stirlingshire.

The young Bairns team, with an average age of 17, put on a dominant display in a match that was hugely beneficial for their development.

Head of Youth Development, Ian Fergus, said:

“Personally I’m pleased to see the implementation of this pathway going forward as part of the youth structure at this football club; feeding players through and allowing us the opportunity to play challenging opponents. It helps enormously in recruitment of players.”
