NEWS

Next up for the Bairns is Cove Rangers as we welcome them to the Falkirk Stadium this weekend.

Kick off is at 3pm, Saturday 11th December.

HEAD TO HEAD

Falkirk v Cove Rangers is a fixture that has only occurred five times over the last three years, with not much to split the two sides.

The previous two meetings have finished all square, the last being the opening game of the 2021/22 league campaign that saw a Bairns team earn a point at Balmoor having only come out of isolation the previous day, and the other finishing two each thanks to a late Conor Sammon equaliser at the Falkirk Stadium in April.

FORM GUIDE

Paul Hartley’s men go into Saturday’s game without a loss in their last eight matches, including a draw against Queen of the South in the Scottish Cup, and only one defeat in 15 in all competitions.

The league leaders sit five points clear of Queen’s Park and Airdrieonians at the top of the table with 31 points, nine ahead of Falkirk.

Last Saturday saw Falkirk fall to their heaviest defeat since 2015 as Queen’s Park put six unanswered goals past the Bairns at Firhill. The result means the Bairns stay fifth in the league table, nine points adrift of the top of the table on 22.
