NEWS
Next up for The Bairns is a midweek game as we take on Peterhead at The Falkirk Stadium in a re-arranged fixture tomorrow evening.
Kick off is at 7:45pm, Tuesday 22nd February.
HEAD TO HEAD
Tomorrow night will be our third meeting with Peterhead this season. The first finished two-one to The Bairns thanks to goals from Craig McGuffie and Paul Dixon and the last fixture played at Balmoor finished a scoreless draw.
FORM GUIDE
Our visitors come into tomorrow night’s game without a win in their previous three fixtures, one of those losses coming against Dundee in the Scottish Cup. Peterhead haven’t registered a win in cinch League One since a 3-2 win against Dumbarton back in December.
The Blue Toon sit second bottom in the league table on 24 points.
The Bairns have lost just two of their last five matches, most recently suffering a two-nil defeat away to Cove Rangers last weekend. Prior to that, Martin Rennie’s men scored three midweek against Alloa in what was a dominating second half display.
Falkirk’s current form sees them still fifth placed in the standings on 32 points, four points behind fourth placed Queen’s Park.
