NEXT UP: FC EDINBURGH
Kick off is at 3pm, Saturday 20th August at Meadowbank Stadium.
This Saturday will be the fourth meeting between Falkirk and FC Edinburgh since both teams were formed. It would have been the fifth had last season’s Premier Sports Cup Group match, against the then named Edinburgh City, not been called off due to a Covid outbreak among the Falkirk squad.
Alan Maybury has had a good start to life in the capital as FC Edinburgh boss with his side taking six points from a possible nine so far this season. A two-nil win against fellow League One newcomers Kelty Hearts and a rollercoaster four-two win away to Alloa have left many reevaluating their predictions for this season.
The Bairns earned their first win of the season on Saturday as they beat Peterhead by three goals to one in what was a dominant display. Falkirk now find themselves in fifth with four points on the board.
