A lifelong supporter with a love for the club, Kevin has been a season ticket holder since 1977.
Over the last twenty years he has coached various Falkirk FC community teams and gained his Level 3 coaching certificate. He helped The Club over the years by operating as a scout to help identify local potential for our academy programmes, and he was active in the Bairn for Life scheme raising funds to support player recruitment. Kevin also spent time as a Board Member of The Club in 2019.
The role of the SLO at Falkirk Football Club is to improve the match day experience within a safe environment. Kevin will provide a means of continual communication in both directions between the authorities, the club and the fans. This will be done through the establishment of a working relationship with all parties to provide a mutual understanding of each other’s expectations, and engagement with fan groups and individuals on a regular basis to help improve the supporter experience.
Kevin said of his new role:
“Having filled multiple roles within the football club throughout my life, I am delighted to be back working alongside the club staff to help bring a point of contact between the fans and the Boardroom. I am looking forward to engaging with other fans to identify their ideas and also help resolve any issues.
“Over the last few months I have been liaising with the Board and can clearly see the new vision and professional strategy in place. I am looking forward to working alongside them and everyone at Falkirk Football Club as we look to fix the feeling of disconnect that has been felt within a lot of our fanbase. I am ready to play my part as so please get in touch!”
