Next up for The Bairns is a trip to The Borders as we take on Queen of the South at Palmerston.

Kick-off is at 3pm, Saturday 29th October.

Our last meeting with Queen of the South ended in a comprehensive victory for The Bairns at The Falkirk Stadium.

Callumn Morrison opened the scoring after just 12 minutes with a rocket from outside the box before Juan Alegria doubled the lead just before the half hour mark. The visitors were given a penalty in the 61st minute which Ruari Paton converted to half his team’s deficit. Despite a period of being on top and threatening to complete a comeback, it was Falkirk who finished the scoring when Ola Lawal scored his first professional goal with seven minutes left to play to seal all three points.

Falkirk’s recent form has seen them slip to fourth in the table but we remain four points behind leaders Dunfermline, three behind second placed FC Edinburgh and level on points with Montrose who sit third. John McGlynn’s team will be looking to bounce back from a draw and a loss in the last two weeks.

Queen of the South have picked up two wins in the last two games against Peterhead and Clyde following a patch if inconsistency. Their form sees them sixth in the table on 16 points.

Falkirk fans will be accommodated at the South end of the BDS Digital Stand.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • Adults – £18
  • Over 65 – £10
  • 16-21 – £10
  • Under 16 – £5
