Next up for The Bairns is Bonfire Night Derby Day as we take on Dunfermline Athletic at The Falkirk Stadium.

Kick-off is at 3pm, Saturday 5th November.

We get ready to take on Dunfermline for the second time this season as we look to shorten the gap to the league leaders.

The last meeting between the two sides ended in a draw at East End Park. Callumn Morrison opened the scoring on the half hour mark after some terrific play by Burrell and Nesbitt. Morrison’s goal was cancelled out ten minutes into the second half when Nikolay Todorov was brought down in the box and Kyle Benedictus converted the resulting penalty.

Falkirk got back to winning ways at the weekend with a comprehensive three-one victory against Queen of the South at Palmerston. Rumarn Burrell scored his first professional brace before Kai Kennedy took full advantage of his first start for the club, finishing the scoring for Falkirk with a tidy finish.

Dunfermline suffered their first defeat of the season two weekends ago when they travelled to Montrose but remain at the top of the table on 28 points.

Falkirk remain just four points behind them in third.
