NEXT UP: DUNDEE

Next up for The Bairns is another break from cinch League One as we host Dundee at The Falkirk Stadium in the fourth round of the SPFL Trust Trophy.

Kick off is at 7:45pm, Thursday 8th December.

This Thursday we take on Dundee for the second time this season as we look to progress in the Challenge Cup. This match will be televised live on BBC Alba.

Last time the two sides met was back in August when The Bairns suffered defeat at Den’s Park. Despite the the game ending three-nil to the hosts, the scoreline didn’t paint the full picture of the game. Falkirk put in a solid performance but were undone by easily avoidable goals. One defensive mishap, a corner and a penalty saw Dundee progress in the Premier Sports Cup.

Thursday’s fixture will be Falkirk second break from the league in as many weeks following a successful trip to Wick in the Scottish Cup, where The Bairns came away 6-0 winners. Falkirk are without defeat in their last four games in all competitions but two consecutive league draws means they now sit third in the league standings.

Dundee are on a great run of form, unbeaten in their last eight games, and trail Ayr United at the top of the cinch Championships by just one point.
