Fan-owned clubs are therefore at a disadvantage when competing against clubs owned by wealthy benefactors, who are often willing to underwrite large losses to fund their clubs football budget.
Falkirk FC is fan-owned and has ambitions to get back to the Premiership but, given the disparities in SPFL financial distribution, will need additional funding each season to achieve this goal.
Forever Falkirk is a crowd-funding initiative which allows fans to directly support our objective of reaching the Premiership by 2026/27, the club’s 150th anniversary.
The idea is simple: fans contribute to the Forever Falkirk Fund and 100% of the money raised will directly contribute towards the club’s football budget each season, supporting both the First Team and the Academy.
Fans can contribute by making a monthly donation of £10 or more and can also make lump sum donations at any time during the season.
Monthly payments must be for a full 12 months to ensure that the pledged funds, once committed to the football budget, are honoured for the whole season.
Fans donating to the Forever Falkirk Fund will also have the option of paying for their Season Ticket in 12 monthly instalments, making their contributions to the club more manageable.
To contribute to the 2023/24 football budget and to opt to pay for their Season Ticket monthly, supporters must do so before the 31st of May. First payments for both will commence on 1st June.

Fans support for Forever Falkirk is essential if we are to get back in the Premiership by 2026/27. We believe we can do this as a fan-owned, fan-run and fan-funded club. Join us on the journey.
