SINGING SECTION TO CONTINUE AT THE FALKIRK STADIUM
After extensive dialogue and open communication with supporters, the club can now confirm that the singing section, originally a trial for three games, will continue this season. Following on from the trial period, the club requested feedback from supporters regarding the new singing section, with many supporters taking the opportunity to get in touch. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive from supporters, players, and the management team, so the decision has been taken to continue with the signing section for season 2023-24.
The club wishes to thank all supporters who took the time to provide feedback and to all those who have participated in the singing section during the successful trial period. We hope the singing section and Ultras group will continue to grow and add colour and atmosphere to the matchday experience at The Falkirk Stadium and when supporting the Bairns away from home.
Supporter Liaison Officer, Kevin Beattie, commented:
“Following the initial meeting with supporters back in early July, I am delighted to report that the attitude and behaviour from this young group of fans at our matches has been outstanding. The feedback that I have had from several supporters of a mixed demographic has been very positive and it has certainly livened up the atmosphere at our matches.
“Communication with the Ultras group is key and since the project commenced the behaviour towards the stewards has improved and no flare incidents have taken place. This is very positive news and let’s hope that this continues throughout the season.
“It was agreed at our meeting there would be an initial trial period, however in my opinion, continuing with this atmosphere throughout the season ahead can only be positive and no doubt help boost the players’ performance on the park as we look to gain promotion back into the Championship.”
The club continues to welcome feedback from supporters on the singing section and matchday experience. You can contact the club to provide feedback using any of the following email addresses:
