Next up for The Bairns is a trip to New Central Park as we take on Kelty Hearts live on BBC Alba.

Falkirk travel to Kelty this weekend looking to extend their winning run in all competitions to six.

The Bairns returned to league action last Saturday after some time off following an SPFL Trust Trophy win against Ayr United. Queen of the South were the opponents at The Falkirk Stadium as the two top scoring teams in the SPFL went toe-to-toe. It was a hard fought match, with both teams seeing a number of chances, but it was John McGlynn’s side who came away with all three points thanks to a spectacular late winner from Brad Spencer. The win meant Falkirk stayed at the top of the table with Hamilton also leaving it late to beat Alloa Athletic.

Kelty Hearts have had an inconsistent start to the season and will be looking to bounce back with a win, having failed to win in their last three league games. Michael Tidser’s side travelled to Aberdeen on Saturday to face Cove Rangers and, despite taking a two-goal lead in the first half, only took a point home thanks to a Mitch Megginson double. Kelty sit sixth in the table with eight points.
