Congratulations to John McGlynn who has been named Glen’s League One Manager of the Month for October!

The Falkirk Manager claims the award for a second successive month after an October that saw his side draw with Hamilton Academical before defeating Stirling Albion and Alloa Athletic, ensuring that The Bairns continued their unbeaten streak in cinch League 1. A victory over cinch Championship side Queen’s Park in the SPFL Trust Trophy topped off a successful month.

John McGlynn said on receiving the award:
“I am delighted to receive this award for the second month in a row on behalf of Falkirk Football Club. It highlights the great consistency that we have shown so far this season. Everyone at the football club has played their part, the players have been magnificent and the backroom staff and everyone involved behind the scenes who works so hard has played a massive role as well.

“It’s been a good month on the back of several previous very good months, it’s not easy to keep up the levels we’ve managed to maintain, and we’ve done really well to keep that consistency throughout, including against Championship opposition in the Cup competitions.

“We’re delighted to have received this recognition, but now we’ve got to try and keep it going.”
