Next up for the Bairns is a break from cinch League 1 as we take on Bonnyrigg Rose in the Fourth Round of the Scottish Cup.

Kick-off is at 3pm, Saturday 20th January.

This Saturday the Bairns travel to Bonnyrigg for the third time in two seasons as we look to progress to the next round of the Scottish Cup.

The Midlothian side currently sit fifth in cinch League 2 following an inconsistent first half of the season. The Rose have won just one of their previous six league games, dropping points recently against Dumbarton and Clyde.

They earned their spot in the Fourth Round after a 1-0 win against Albion Rovers at Cliftonhill, with Rose’s top scorer this season, Neil Martyniuk getting the winning goal. Falkirk booked their slot after beating Highland League side, Formartine United, 3-0.

The last two meetings between Falkirk and Bonnyrigg Rose have been successful ones for the Bairns, who won by three goals to nil in a pre-season friendly last year and picked up a bonus point at New Dundas Park in the League Cup group stage in the 2022/23 season.

Falkirk go into Saturday’s match looking to extend their unbeaten run of 26 games. Prior to last weekend, The Bairns had won six league games in a row, but dropped points away to Edinburgh City last Saturday in a two-all draw.
