Calvin picks up his first Falkirk FC Player of the Month award since joining the club in the summer. The winger has become an integral part of John McGlynn’s side this season, contributing massively to the side’s 26 game unbeaten run.
Calvin’s award comes after a string of stand-out performances in December that saw him score two goals and provide four assists.
Three of those four assists and one of the goals came at home against Stirling Albion. Calvin was too much for the away side to handle, setting up goals for Liam Henderson, Ross MacIver and Brad Spencer, as well as scoring a tremendous effort of his own.
His most important contribution arguably came against Hamilton Academical at New Douglas Park when he scored a goal of the season contender to put the Bairns back in front after conceding an equalising goal. He then assisted Callumn Morrison for Falkirk’s third with a defence splitting pass from deep.
