Next up for the Bairns is another weekend on the road as we head across the Clackmannanshire Bridge to take on Alloa Athletic.

Kick-off is at 3pm, Saturday 27th January.

Falkirk are looking to bounce back with a win this Saturday after suffering defeat for the first time since July. The Bairns made a shock exit from the Scottish Cup last weekend as League 2 side Bonnyrigg Rose bagged a last minute winner at New Dundas Park to progress to the fifth round, ending Falkirk’s 26 game unbeaten run.

The squad will also be looking to get back to winning ways in the league having dropped points in a two-all draw against Edinburgh City in the capital two weeks ago. John McGlynn’s side remain at the summit of cinch League 1 with a nine point lead over second placed Hamilton.

Alloa Athletic’s league form has picked up since the last time the two sides met. The Wasps are six unbeaten in the league, picking up nine points in that time, and find themselves fifth in the standings with a game in hand over fourth placed Montrose, with both teams on 26 points.
