Cammy has recently graduated from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen with a Masters degree and has previous experience of working in sports physiotherapy, having worked in Aberdeen’s youth set-up and, more recently, with Cove Rangers where he worked with the first team.
Cammy said of joining Falkirk:
“It’s a brilliant opportunity, especially with the team doing so well. I already knew before joining that Falkirk is a great club having had involvements with the club previously. I played football when I was younger and my local team had an association with Falkirk, so I used to come to games. I’ve been in and around the club at points in my life and I know what it’s all about. To see it growing like this is fantastic and I’m really looking forward to doing what I can to help the club in my role. I’m very excited and everyone has been very welcoming so far and it seems like I’m in the right place.”
Joining the coaching team alongside Cammy is Andy, who takes over the Performance Analyst role.
Andy has worked in football analysis for a number of years at academy and first team level. He has worked with John McGlynn and Paul Smith previously, having spent two spells as an analyst at Raith Rovers. Andy has also worked with St. Mirren and Queen of the South.
Andy spoke about his role and joining the club:
“It’s great to join a club on the up and to be working with John and Paul again. My day-to-day role will involve looking at the opposition, getting video footage and putting together scout reports as well as looking at our own footage post match and reviewing training on a daily basis. I’m really looking forward to helping the team achieve their goals this season.”
