The versatile midfielder joined Falkirk in May 2022 and has made 60 appearances in the navy blue. This season Liam has been almost ever-present in the Falkirk midfield, scoring six goals and getting three assists in 28 games so far.
This spell is Liam’s second time with Falkirk, having been on the books as a youngster in 2017/18.
Manager John McGlynn said of the deal:
“We are delighted to have agreed with Liam a two year extension on his contract that will see him remain at the club for another two and a half years. Liam has been an excellent player for us throughout the last year and a half and has really come into his own this season in central midfield.
“He gives us a real presence in both boxes and across the park, he is versatile in being able to step back into defence, and he’s a really infectious character around the place. He’s the type of character that is great to have in the dressing room, and Paul and I have really enjoyed working with him and are look forward to continuing that for the next two and half years.
Following the announcement of Coll Donaldson’s extension last week and with the players we already have signed up for next season, I hope the fans will be excited with our progress in planning for the future.”
