Falkirk Football Club is delighted to announce that Leon McCann has signed a new deal, keeping him with the club until 2026.

The left-back joined in the summer of 2021 and has been an integral part of the side ever since, making over 100 appearances for the club.

Leon has been one of the first names on the team-sheet this season, playing nearly every game of the 2023/24 campaign so far, forming part of the most solid defensive unit in the league, who have only conceded only 15 goals in 24 cinch League 1 matches this season.

John McGlynn added:

“I think everyone at the club is delighted that Leon has signed an extended deal with the club until the summer of 2026. He’s been an almost ever-present in our side this season, and he is someone who is playing at a very high level and shows commitment in every game.

“He’s been available for every game and has played consistently well, churning out performance after performance. It was a no brainer to get the negotiations going and we are delighted that he has committed to the club again.

“It comes on the back of Coll Donaldson and Liam Henderson signing their own extensions and it’s good news for the club, and good news for the fans. We’re delighted to be working with him for an extended period.”
