Falkirk FC is delighted to announce that Finn Yeats has signed a contract extension.

The 20-year-old has signed a two-year deal that will keep him at The Falkirk Stadium until 2026.

Finn joined The Bairns as a trialist ahead of the 2022/23 season after leaving Aberdeen’s academy and was offered a two-year deal after impressing Falkirk Manager John McGlynn.

A central midfield player by trade, he has made the right back position his own this season, making 42 appearances in all competitions.

Finn becomes the seventh player to sign an extension this season.

John McGlynn commented on Finn’s new deal:

“We’re absolutely delighted to have got this deal over the line. It’s taken a long time, and a lot of negotiating has gone on, but we got there, and we’re delighted that Finn has committed to the club for the next couple of seasons.

“He’s managed to take a hold of that right back jersey this year, but the new season is a clean slate for everyone, and they’ve all got to come back for pre-season and impress.”
