A LETTER TO FALKIRK TV SUBSCRIBERS AND CUSTOMERS - IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE 2024/25 SEASON

2023/24 was an incredible season for Falkirk Football Club. After five years of disappointment, we finally managed to gain promotion out of League 1. John, Paul and the players did the unthinkable, not only winning the league, but doing it in style and joining an elite few by going the whole league campaign unbeaten.

Firstly, everyone at the club would like to thank you for helping us achieve our goals. By subscribing to Falkirk TV and supporting us from wherever you may be across the world, you have played a huge part in the team’s success and not just financially, as your commitment to supporting the team from overseas has not gone unnoticed by the players, for whom your backing has been crucial. We would also like to say thank you to every single person who purchased games on pay-per-view and our audio streams.

Your support was also a huge lift for the Falkirk TV team. The early parts of last season were by no means easy for our team of dedicated volunteers, who came on board before the start of the season and worked incredibly hard to correct several issues that were encountered, and to provide a high-quality service for the fans. Last summer we said goodbye to our previous FTV team who had spent the best part of a decade bringing you live games from all over Scotland, becoming the voices of Falkirk TV. Lewis Connolly and Stuart McCafferty went above and beyond to keep Falkirk TV running and we couldn’t thank them more for their service to the club. They left big shoes to fill, however, our new team of Sean Elderbrant, Josh Heggie, Drew Barton and Alana Robertson stepped up and have done a tremendous job to not only keep Falkirk TV going, but to improve it. The club would like to say a big thank you to the Falkirk TV team for the part they played in making our 2024/25 season such a memorable one.

This Saturday the team returns as we take on Alloa Athletic in a pre-season friendly at The Falkirk Stadium and although the set-up and the stream may seem the same as last season, we have been working hard behind the scenes to implement a number of improvements to Falkirk TV for what is sure to be an exciting season in the Championship. For the start of the league season, we aim to have a multi-camera setup that will add to the quality of our matchday streams, offering extra angles to capture the action from, as well as better angles for replays which will also improve the highlights packages as well as the live stream. Improvements are also being made behind the scenes so that our matchday setup is more efficient to use for our team, making it easier for them to bring you a better product.

Last season we also changed our streaming platform as we made the switch to ScottishFootball.online. We joined as one of several clubs to us their service, including Queen’s Park, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Queen of the South. Their platform has provided us with the means to bring you our matchday streams home and away, as well as making it possible to provide audio streams and match re-runs. The streaming platform worked perfectly without a hitch throughout the season and the club would like to extend its thanks to Brian Duncan, who runs ScottishFootball.online, for his technical support and the improvements he has made to our service over the course of the last year.

Another big thank you must go to Falkirk TV’s sponsor for last season, Citrus Business Solutions, whose support throughout the campaign was greatly appreciated.

Ahead of the new season, we must update supporters with some new information regarding subscriptions.

With the club now competing in the Championship, we have made the decision to increase the price of our yearly and monthly subscriptions. For the 2024/25 season, the price of a yearly subscription will increase from £180 to £200 while monthly subscriptions will increase from £18 to £20.

The price of audio streams and match re-runs will remain the same. Pay-per-view prices will vary throughout the season depending on the game, with this Saturday’s friendly priced at a reduced cost of £10, while our Premier Sports Cup group stage match against Stenhousemuir on the 27th of July will be available on PPV for £16. Pricing for eligible league fixtures is still to be confirmed.

Yearly and monthly subscriptions can be purchased at Falkirk TV HERE.

We look forward to bringing you all our Championship action live this season and we hope you enjoy our service as we aim to have another successful season!
